About Us
I am a restorative engineer with aprox. 30yrs experience in the transport industry. I have restored vehicles of all shapes and sizes including motorcycles, cars. Commercial vehicles, buses, boats even a light aeroplane engine. About the only thing I have not had a hand in is steam driven vehicles. A few years ago I became friends with and was asked to form a partnership with a woman who was heavily into American trailer caravans. Consequentially, I became a member of The Maybricks Group and we set up a workshops in Peterborough UK to restore vintage trailer caravans of all types. Due to an irrevocable breakdown in the partnership I am no longer involved with the Maybricks group and in November 2008 a new trading entity called the Vintage American Trailer Co was formed consisting of myself, my wife Jenny and nephew Kelvin. Set up in the original Maybricks Peterborough workshops the Vintage American Trailer Co is truly a family business and we will continue the work that we used to do on behalf of the Maybricks group. Primarily concentrating on American Trailer caravans including the iconic Airstreams we import, sell, export, convert and restore caravans of all shapes and sizes for use in the UK and Europe.
